GiveBermuda.org does not evaluate or rate nonprofits, but information on Bermuda's priority areas and the Bermuda National Standards of Excellence can be found on this site under Vital Signs and Bermuda’s National Standards of Excellence.

Why can't I find a specific nonprofit?

Try a few different words or phrases in the search bar. Avoid using acronyms if you know part of their full name. It's also possible your organisation of choice may not have registered or chose not to participate this year. Annual enrollment is required to ensure information remains updated and current.

How are gifts processed through GiveBermuda.org?

All online donations through GiveBermuda.org are grants made to the Bermuda Foundation to be directed to the nonprofit of the donor's recommendation, upon confirmation of the nonprofit’s good standing. Donations made by credit card receive auto-generated documentation of their gift via e-mail at the time the gift is made and the nonprofit will receive the grant within two to six weeks, depending on when the donation has been made. Donations through GiveBermuda.org are 100% tax-deductible for US taxpayers. GiveBermuda.org cannot be used to sell tickets, products, services, or any items where the donor receives a market value.

What does GiveBermuda do with donor information?

GiveBermuda does not share or sell donor information to any other organisation or third party but we do reserve the right to communicate with donors for the purpose of user surveys, newsletters, GiveBermuda, or Bermuda Foundation information and general education about philanthropy.

Can I make an anonymous donation?

Yes, when donors are ready to check out they may elect to be Anonymous (no donor contact information will be provided to the organisation, only a dollar amount).
